Sheri Miller, Founder, Executive Director. As the visionary, her guidance and support keep the organization focused on the big picture and on
target; helping each community reach its goals and our mission, simultaneously.   After working many years at her family’s business, Quill
Corporation, Sheri started her own promotional products company where she worked until she chose to stay home and raise her kids.
Believing strongly in collaboration, she depends heavily on everyone’s input.  She holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in

Gene Salvadalena, Director of Leadership Development.  Gene partners with community organizations, businesses, parents, and other
community members, helping them find solutions to strengthen their community, providing them with facilitation, coaching and mentoring in;
leadership development, strategic planning, and conducting effective community discussion groups.  All efforts are designed so that they
themselves can enhance the leadership skills of others.

Gene brings a strong corporate presence to the team with 20 years of key management positions at The Boeing Company in; Industrial
Engineering, Human Resources, and Corporate Philanthropy.  Strategic thinking, organizational development, business planning, process
engineering, and training & development have been the core of his responsibilities throughout his work life.  During his career he has focused
on listening to his customers, asking educated and thought provoking questions to best understand their needs bringing a systems integration
approach in getting to the solution.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Eastern Washington University. Gene

Ashley Ward, LCSW, Director of Community Programs. In her role at the Foundation, Ashley oversees the teach, empower AND model
initiative that has been in place since 2006 and involves multiple schools. She works directly with education consultants and school leaders to
support the schools’ culture changing initiatives. In addition, she manages an invitation-only grant program that offers strategic support and
funding for sustainable leadership development to organizations and individuals in the Foundation’s geographic areas of focus. Ashley
coordinates a variety of professional development events to provide meaningful learning experiences for community leaders.

Before joining the Charmm’d team, Ashley provided group counseling services in Chicago while earning her license in clinical social work.
Prior to moving to the Midwest, she worked in residential homes supporting adults with developmental disabilities and supervised residential
programs in Virginia and North Carolina. She received her master's in social work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she
concentrated on non-profit management and community practice and earned a Certificate in International Development. Ashley holds a
bachelor's degree in anthropology and African & African-American Studies from the University of Virginia. She can be reached at

Susan Baird, Project Coordinator.  Susan is in charge of special projects to help the team reach it’s goals in both the education market and
the community.  She  coordinates  all events held by The
Charmm’d Foundation.  Susan works with local businesses to form alliances and
gain sponsorship for educational and community programs.  Prior to joining The
Charmm’d Foundation, Susan worked at Quill Corporation for
14 years and held various positions in Strategic Planning, Executive Administration and Human Resources.  She has vast experience creating
partnerships and building relationships with customers to identify needs, problem solve and offer creative solutions.  She brings a detailed-
oriented mindset along with strategic and organizational skills in seeing projects though from start to finish.  Believing strongly in creating open
dialog and collaboration with others, Susan helps to bring the vision, mission and principles of the foundation to life.  Susan holds a Bachelor's
degree in Business Administration from Auburn University .  She can be reached at
