The Charmm’d Foundation facilitates a program to help reduce the time it takes to onboard a new leader and build trust among the leadership team – New Leader Integration.
We work with Leadership Teams, Boards, and Stakeholders to facilitate the following outcomes:
Build trust between the team and the new leader.
Lay the foundation for open communication, work planning, and problem-solving between the leader and the team.
Identify what is working well and what areas need to be addressed.
Help the team realize its potential.
THE PROCESS IS SIMPLE and POWERFUL
The leader hires us and we meet with the leadership team, without the new leader present. We ask a series of questions designed to get a group response on the following:
What they want to know about the new leader
What they are looking for in their new leader
What they want to see continue and change
Uncover any concerns and fears
How the new leader can help them succeed
How they can help the new leader succeed
What they think is important for the leader to address immediately (within 6 months)
After the discussion, the Charmm’d facilitator meets with the new leader to share the group’s responses. The leader then crafts their response and delivers this message to the team. We facilitate the creation of a team action plan that identifies immediate next steps the leader and team members can take. We will conduct a follow-up session within 2-3 months to assess progress and will coach the new leader for 6 months to provide accountability and support.
Is New Leader Integration
right for your team?
Are you new (within 60 days) to an executive role in a qualifying organization?
Are you open to hearing feedback from your new team about what they want and need from you? What they want to see continue and change and how you can help them, and how they can help you, succeed?
Will you commit to being coached by us following the first session so we can hold you accountable for your responsibilities on the action plan created by the team?
Are you eager to build trust with your new team?
Do you have a strong desire to start off on a firm foundation as you lead this group and are you willing to be vulnerable and make changes to help everyone succeed?
If you think this service is what you are looking for, we want to hear from you.
