Virtual GROUP OPTIONS

During COVID we learned of the ease and comfort of providing Peer Advisory Groups in an online format.  Even after Covid, these groups will remain virtual. So, come as you are, join us from wherever you are, and enjoy the experience of learning from others who are interested in the same topics as you.

Dare to Lead Take 2

We are big fans of Brené Brown and find her latest book, Dare to Lead, especially relevant because she applied her years of research towards leadership and provides a framework for understanding how organizations and companies can be strengthened, and even transformed, when leaders do the courageous work of addressing issues that get in the way of people and teams doing their best work. This group will read and examine sections of Dare to Lead, complete exercises in the companion workbook, and listen to episodes of the Dare to Lead podcast to unpack Brown’s concepts and apply them to their leadership and organizational operations. The idea is to identify actions you can take in your role at work (and in life), that will create transformational shifts in how you think about yourself, your leadership, your organization, and what it takes to be a brave leader who does meaningful work. Join with other leaders in this virtual group who are committed to making a difference and being the best leader they can be.

Bi-monthly group meets virtually from 8:00-10:00 AM on the following dates: 9/9/21; 11/11/21; 1/6/22; 3/3/21; 5/5/22; 6/30/22*

Lead by Coaching

There is a time to lead and there is a time to coach.  BOTH help your team members become stronger leaders themselves. In leading, we role model what to do (or not to do).  In coaching, we help our team uncover their ideas and answers, and provide the structure to take action. This group will focus on coaching.

Designed for any leader who leads a team, a number of theories and coaching practices will be shared, and by the first session, all will be coaching. In between sessions, group members will be paired up to practice, give one another feedback, and hold each other accountable.

Bimonthly group meets virtually on the third Thursday of even months from 8:00 - 10:00 AM*

*Dates and times are subject to change and will be communicated to group members.

Leadership Cohort for the Seasoned Leader

This group began as “the downtown group” for seasoned Nonprofit leaders.  When Covid hit we went virtual and have decided to stay virtual. That means that wherever you are located, you may be eligible. In this group, we focus on “the people side of leadership” topics the group members identify as areas of interest.  All then dive into the discussions asking questions, sharing perspectives, best practices and offering support and guidance.

Leadership Cohort Virtual Style!

Here is a safe space for a cross-sector of emerging leaders with similar responsibilities and challenges to let down their hair, focus on themselves and the challenges/successes they are going through, build a network they can come to depend upon and leave each meeting with new ideas, perspectives and actions to take. We often say, “The answers are in the room.” You will find this to be true and realize you are not alone. This is a group of people who can help you succeed.

Bimonthly group meets virtually on the third Tuesday of even months from 8:00 - 10:00 AM*

All of us live with “saboteurs” in our heads, keeping us from doing our best.  Shirzad Chamine, New York Times bestselling author of Positive Intelligence and Stanford Lecturer, has found a way to identify these saboteurs, and with breakthrough tools and techniques, defeat these internal foes. What we are left with is a more positive mindset, allowing us to get out of our own way and reach our full potential. Join us and other top-level leaders on this journey as we read through his book, take an assessment to identify our saboteurs, explore how to conquer them (once and for all) and build up our PQ (positive intelligence) muscles through our discussions and group accountability with the ultimate goal of increasing both our performance and fulfillment.

Bimonthly group meets virtually on the third Wednesday of even months from 8:00 - 10:00 AM*

Team Assessments Peer Advisory Group

This is a group for individuals who have experienced team workshops with one or more of our behavioral assessments and have a desire to incorporate what they have learned about themselves into their leadership practice. In meetings, members discuss everyday leadership issues and we use the lens of the behavioral assessments they have taken to examine and uncover the dynamics involved. By referencing this information, group members get to reflect on who they are, the strengths they bring to the table as well as how they could be getting in their own way. Together with their peers, they explore solutions to life and leadership challenges in a safe environment and get to lean on the group for support.

Bimonthly group meets virtually on the fourth Tuesday of even months from 9:00 - 11:00 AM*

*Dates and times are subject to change and will be communicated to group members.
