Virtual GROUP OPTIONS

Because of COVID, we learned the ease and comfort of providing Peer Advisory Groups in an online format.  Even after COVID, these groups will remain virtual. So, come as you are, join us from wherever you are and enjoy the experience of learning from others who are interested in the same topics as you.

Community-Led Peer Advisory Groups

For up-and-coming professionals and those new to the leadership role, these groups are focused on developing effective leadership skills and are co-facilitated by leaders in our community. Participants have the opportunity to strengthen their network, share best practices, discuss leadership topics, be introduced to a variety of resources, ponder challenges and identify solutions. On occasion, hear from guest community speakers who visit these PAGS sharing their expertise and knowledge. In these groups, participants will find the “answers in the room” and get the support they need in their leadership journey.

Groups meet at various times virtually*

DEI Peer Advisory Group

More and more organizations are forming Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committees as they believe this is important for employee and organization success. We are not DEI experts; we are skilled facilitators who can bring a group of people together around this topic. With that in mind, this group is for the champions of these committees to come together and share:

·     Resources

·     What they have put into practice

·     What is working and what is not

·     Ideas/thoughts where they are seeking feedback

There is no reason this work must be done alone, in fact, we want to express the intention of doing this work in the community. Get the support of other Charmm’d Partners who are doing the same work in their organizations so you can learn and grow together.

Bimonthly group meets virtually on the fourth Thursday of odd months from 9:00-10:30 AM*

This group is for Executive Directors of nonprofit organizations that have at least 3 full-time staff and an asset size of $500,000 or higher. Group members determine the topics that will enable them to be more strategic and focused. The Executive Director role can be a lonely one and when the members of this group come together, they share ideas and discuss the application of best practices in the nonprofit sector.

LEAD Leadership. Ethics. Adaptable. Determined.

How do you define "LEAD"? Do you lead with an ethical lens that is rooted in your values? Do you empower others to do the same? Are you actively innovating in the workplace as you adapt to the many changes in our world? Do you have a strong drive to serve a purpose? Are you determined to make a difference? The members of this group demonstrate these values – leadership, ethics, adaptable, determined - and hold one another accountable to doing the same in a safe, confidential space. In this peer advisory group, you will find support to lead in this manner and you will find new friends along the way.

Lead by Coaching

There is a time to lead and there is a time to coach. BOTH help your team members become stronger leaders themselves. In leading, we role model what to do (or not to do). In coaching, we help our team uncover their ideas and answers, and provide the structure to take action. This group will focus on coaching. Designed for any leader who leads a team, a number of theories and coaching practices will be shared. In the group and in between sessions, members will be paired up to practice coaching, give one another feedback, and hold each other accountable.

Bimonthly group meets virtually on the third Thursday of even months from 8:00 - 10:00 AM*

OPEN SEATS

Leadership Cohort for the Seasoned Leader

In this group, we focus on topics group members identify as areas of interest. This has gone anywhere from better understanding ourselves, our goals, and our values to getting clearer on our personal and organizational brand to learning how to manage unreasonable requests/expectations.  All dive into the discussions by asking questions, sharing perspectives, best practices, and offering support and guidance. This is a tight-knit caring group of leaders who truly have each other’s back.

Bimonthly group meets virtually on the first Friday of even months from 8:00 - 10:00 AM*

Leadership Cohort Virtual Style!

Here is a safe space for a cross-sector of emerging leaders with similar responsibilities and challenges to let down their hair, focus on themselves and the challenges/successes they are going through, build a network they can come to depend upon, and leave each meeting with new ideas, perspectives, and actions to take. We often say, “The answers are in the room.” You will find this to be true and realize you are not alone. This is a group of people who can help you succeed.

Bimonthly group meets virtually on the third Tuesday of even months from 8:00 - 10:00 AM*

Join other top-level leaders as we learn, share, and grow together.  In every meeting, our time focuses on Brene Brown’s latest book, Atlas of the Heart, where we dive deep into discussion and leave with a better understanding of ourselves while building strong bonds with one another. Members alternate leading the discussions allowing each session to be unique and powerful as we share, learn, and witness different leadership styles. We will also be reminded of the learnings from our last book, Positive Intelligence. For those who were not present for those discussions of our last book, no worries! These new insights will be an added bonus that is shared during our time together.

Bimonthly group meets virtually on the third Wednesday of even months from 8:30 - 9:45 AM*

The Leaders Exchange

Think Again

We are big fans of Adam Grant and his latest book, Think Again. This book is especially relevant in today’s world where leaders are called to rethink almost everything about leadership as they navigate the complex dynamics of today's world. Grant inspires readers to reconsider their opinions, knowledge, and viewpoints on many things. He asserts this is a skill to build in order to be true critical thinkers and learners. He takes the reader on a journey of understanding his position through a powerful blend of presenting data, research, and storytelling. The group will read sections of the book prior to each meeting, then discuss how this applies in daily leadership and life.

Bimonthly group meets virtually from 8:00-10:00 AM on the following dates: 9/8/22; 11/3/22; 1/5/23; 3/2/23; 5/4/23; 6/29/23*

*Dates and times are subject to change and will be communicated to group members.
